We are a small congregation of Unitarian Universalists in Western Maine. Our minister is The Reverend Richard Beal. Sunday services are held in Norway at 11:00 am from September through June. If you like to sing, come join our choir practice at 9:30 am. Free childcare is provided, and refreshments follow the services, which last about an hour. The First Universalist Church is located at 479 Main St. in Norway, Maine.

Mr. Beal also ministers to our sister congregation in West Paris. Sunday services begin at 9:00 am.

Most of us were newcomers and visitors ourselves at one time, and we want to offer to you the friendship and the "space" to explore our religious community. Whether you come to visit once or stay for a lifetime of religious growth and fellowship, we are glad you are here. ****JOIN US FOR VISITORS' SUNDAYON SEPTEMBER 27, 2009!!*****

This congregation is composed of people with diverse spiritual orientations, from different backgrounds and occupations. We strive to live our faith according to the Seven Principles of Faith. We support spiritual growth and respect freedom of individual beliefs. We make promises to each other as congregation members.

In addition, the congregation belongs to the larger Unitarian Universalist Association of Churches.

We hope that we will meet you in person soon and that you will join us as we create a diverse, justice-seeking, spirit-growing community.
